Waiting List Status for the
Housing Choice Voucher Program

The Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List is closed.
Please check for an update in September 2018.

For those who applied January 19th-21st, 2016 HCV Waiting List:

The waiting list is currently in a hold position. We are currently not calling new groups in from the waiting list for vouchers. No additional vouchers will be issued until they become available.  

Ranking or numbers are no longer provided to applicants on the 2016 waiting list.

If your household’s address or preference changes, make sure that you report these changes to our office by completing a Change of Circumstance Form.  When a voucher becomes available for your household, you will be contacted in writing at the address you have provided to the SHA.

The preferences for 2016 Spokane Waiting List applicants are as follows:
             (1) 
A Household whose Head of Household or Co-Head/Spouse is Disabled
             (2)
 
A Household whose Head of Household or Co-Head/Spouse is 62 years old or older
             (3)
 
A Household that has one or more minor child or children as part of their household
