Eligibility Assistant

Provides excellent customer service for SHA applicants, program participants, landlords and coworkers including filing, administrative duties, and direct client interactions. One year general office work or coursework relating to office administrative support required.  Full time, 40 hours per week, union represented position with benefits. Eligibility Specialist

Performs housing assistance eligibility tasks, including verifications, medical and income calculations, case management, recertification processes, and conducts orientations. 1 year of general office experience required. Relevant associate’s degree or 2 years of case management preferred. Full time, union represented position with benefits. Salary range is $16.37 to $22.02 per hour. Housing Programs Specialist

Coordinates and facilitates special assisted housing programs, projects, services, and compliance; contributes to organizing and facilitating comprehensive strategies to meet the housing needs of vulnerable and special needs populations; serves as a liaison between SHA and community organizations and agencies; conducts non-supervisory file audits to ensure correct subsidy calculation and compliance with applicable regulations and policies; coordinates front desk and support activities; and makes applicant/participant eligibility determinations and subsidy calculations in accordance with applicable regulations and policies. One year of case management or housing authority experience required. Preference is given towards a relevant Associate’s Degree and 2 years of housing authority, case management, or similar experience. Full time, union represented position with benefits.
